From the exciting beginning of Queen’s park as the Royal Agricultural Showground to the present hub for recreation and nature, we will follow the history of the part and the surrounding streets, bringing to life its Victorian heritage, historic architecture and fascinating personalities who contributed to the development of the area. The talk is lavishly illustrated with historic images, maps and present day photographs.
